Job summary

Staples is seeking a high-velocity B2B Sales Associate to hunt net new small to mid-size business customers in a defined territory. The role emphasizes appointment setting, solutions selling, and closing deals using a mix of in-person, video, and remote engagement.

You will collaborate with category specialists and support teams to progress opportunities, articulate Staples value, and create sticky accounts that purchase repeatedly.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of successful sales experience.
• 3+ years experience in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of CRM systems preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and set appointments with decision makers each week.
• Sell Staples value propositions and product assortments.
• Overcome objections and close sales.
• Collaborate with support teams to progress deals to closed won.
• Document engagement and build a prioritized activity list.
• Develop new customer accounts and pricing strategies.
• Engage daily with prospects in person or remotely.
• Analyze industry trends to create tailored solutions.
