Job summary

Gosiger is looking for a motivated Machine Tool Sales professional to grow revenue in the SW Michigan quadrant. You will nurture existing accounts, prospect new ones, and manage projects from quotation to installation, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

The role emphasizes deep product knowledge, strong communication, and close coordination with internal teams to deliver turnkey solutions and training. Occasional travel is required to support customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years in consultative sales in the machine tool industry.
• Strong mechanical/technical aptitude and negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience in project management and time management.
• Willingness to travel and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains knowledge of machine tool products and services, and communicates Gosiger’s competitive edge.
• Prospecting and territory management to meet annual revenue and margin goals.
• Phone prospecting and face-to-face customer engagement daily.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver turnkey solutions and customer demonstrations.
• Manage projects from installation to first run-offs and ensure customer satisfaction.
