Job summary

Gosiger is seeking a seasoned Sales Engineer to drive engineering services sales through distributors and end users on the West Coast or Midwest. You will develop process solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver tailored proposals to grow revenue and market presence.

Expect base salary of $80,000–$100,000 plus commission, with up to 40% travel. Responsibilities include maintaining technical fluency in Gosiger products, qualifying opportunities, and presenting compelling

Qualifications

• BS/BAS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of hands-on machine tool and machining process experience with strong manufacturing aptitude.
• Strong knowledge of machine programming, setup, metal cutting, tooling, fixtures/workholding, GD&T, CPK, and print interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth by meeting/exceeding sales goals, negotiating terms, supporting collections, and managing business expenses.
• Maintain strong relationships with distributors, suppliers, customers, and prospects.
• Coordinate customer visits, meetings, training sessions, and showroom presentations.
• Utilize CRM and SharePoint tools to manage accounts, forecast business, and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct distributor visits and sales activities within assigned territory.
• Support team training and strategic planning initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company sales processes.
