Job summary

Sierra Space in Louisville, CO, is hiring a Senior Technical Trainer to design, implement, and deliver innovative training aligned with business goals. You will own the technical training matrix and work with operations, engineers, and auditors to drive manufacturing excellence and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, expertise in learning design, LMS, and content creation tools. VR/AR familiarity and analytics skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Typically 8+ years of related experience.
• Must demonstrate proficiency with adult learning theory, learning design methodologies, and program management.
• Must have demonstrable experience in the independent use of content creation tools, communication and collaboration tools, video conferencing tools, LMS system(s), assessment and evaluation tools.
• Experience designing, implementing, and delivering learning programs that align with business needs.
• Strongly prefer understanding/experience of VR/AR tools, adaptive learning platforms, analytics and reporting tools, project management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and delivery of technical training programs.
• Maintain training matrices and coordinate with HR and auditors.
• Collaborate with operations leaders, engineers, and technicians to drive manufacturing excellence.
• Create and maintain manuals, eLearning modules, job aids, and instructor-led guides.
• Facilitate hands-on training sessions and manage multiple projects to ensure timely delivery.
