Job summary

Sierra Nevada Company is seeking a Senior Technical Trainer to design, develop, and deliver cutting‑edge training content for internal and external customers. The role combines on‑site and remote client support, collaborating with engineering, program management, and cybersecurity teams to ensure training aligns with capability delivery and security practices.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of technical training experience, a technical bachelor’s degree, and the ability to obtain a security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related discipline.
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
• 6+ years of experience in technical training or a related field.
• In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Own training initiatives from intake through delivery and follow‑up, managing priorities and stakeholder expectations across multiple efforts.
• Design, develop, and deliver training for new systems, enhancements, and technologies including XR and AI.
• Work with program, product line, corporate L&D, IT and cybersecurity teams to align training with operational needs and security requirements.
• Define measures of effectiveness and report on training outcomes to leadership.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and build a knowledge base of training materials.
