Job summary

Sierra Space seeks a Senior Technical Trainer to lead design, implementation, and delivery of innovative technical training programs aligned with business needs. The role owns and maintains the training matrix, collaborates with operations, engineers, and auditors to drive manufacturing excellence through skills development.

Designs and delivers learning programs, evaluates learning impact, creates materials, and supports audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; Masters +6 yrs experience considered.
• Typically 8+ years of related experience.
• Proficient in adult learning theory, learning design methodologies, and program management.
• Experience with LMS, content creation tools, video conferencing, and evaluation tools.
• Familiarity with VR/AR tools, adaptive learning, analytics, and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the technical and compliance training matrix.
• Design, implement, and deliver innovative training programs aligned to business needs.
• Support audit activities with training documentation and evidence.
• Collaborate with HR and site leaders to drive learning solutions and impact.
• Develop manuals, eLearning modules, job aids, and instructor guides; lead hands-on labs.
