Job summary

Firecrawl is hiring a Technical BDR in San Francisco to spearhead outbound efforts targeting engineers, data scientists, and AI/ML leads. You will translate technical value into concrete, purchasable opportunities, collaborate with FDEs on deals, and drive the renewal and expansion process.

You will navigate procurement and security checks, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and help build scalable revenue processes while receiving competitive equity and an on-site role in SF.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outbound sales or BDR experience in a technical or software environment.
• Strong technical reading ability to follow API discussions and code comments.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a track record of converting technical buyers.

Responsibilities

• Help win high-value deals by aligning technical and commercial cases, including pricing and negotiation.
• Maintain funnel visibility across pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and smooth handoffs between prospecting and closing.
• Manage messy commercial edges (procurement portals, security questionnaires, redlines, PO processes) to keep deals moving.
• Understand customer needs and usage to expand opportunities with Firecrawl’s product.
• Recruit, onboard, and document playbooks for the revenue team to scale execution.
