Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc. is seeking a Technical Program Manager II to lead development programs from award through completion in Rochester, MN.

You will act as the primary customer contact and guide the project team to meet design requirements, budget, and satisfaction across multiple sites. The role requires 3–8 years of program management experience, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with internal new products and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Science (EE or ME) or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3-8 years of program management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective multitasking skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities as required.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Acts as primary day-to-day contact for development programs with responsibility for leading the development team and activities.
• Interacts with customers on schedule, quality, cost and engineering changes to maximize satisfaction.
• Prepares bids or proposals and communicates them effectively to the customer.
• Leads internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, quality and cost targets are met.
• Identifies and manages changes in scope, requirements, and resources.
