Benchmark is seeking a capable Technical Program Manager I to lead development programs for mid-size customers. You’ll manage schedules, costs, and quality while coordinating with engineering, manufacturing and proposal teams to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Science (EE or ME) or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3–8 years of program management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and client focus.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Acts as primary day-to-day contact for development programs with customers.
• Leads development teams to meet design requirements, budgets and schedules.
• Creates and manages project plans, timelines and resources.
• Monitors program financial performance and reporting.
• Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Engages in continuous improvement activities and proposals.
