Job summary

Day & Zimmermann is seeking a Technical Engagement Manager (TEM) to oversee SOW-based consulting teams provided by Yoh. The TEM will act as the main point of contact for the Client Manager and Yoh’s consulting team, coordinating onboarding, progress reviews and risk mitigation to keep projects on track.

Key duties include coordinating with contractor and client stakeholders, providing weekly metrics, maintaining a replacement pipeline, and spotting opportunities within the client portfolio.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) preferred.
• 5+ years technical project or engagement management experience required.
• Prior client relationship building experience required.
• Strong technology knowledge/interest required.

Responsibilities

• Liaison between contractor team, client manager, Yoh account manager and branch. Lead communication with contractor team and client to ensure all team members are aware of responsibilities to ensure successful project completion at all times. 40%
• Provide weekly project metrics, including onboarding, hours worked, burn, contractor satisfaction, time off planning, time keeping, contractor risk, and mitigation recommendations. 30%
• Building strong relationship with Client Manager(s) by acting as a trusted partner to them. Curate personal relationships with the managers outside of specific project responsibilities to Yoh. 20%
• Work closely with branch recruiting teams to maintain a pipeline of viable candidates in case one of the project team members needs to be replaced. 5%
• Identify potential work that is related to the existing projects to help Yoh penetrate other areas within the larger client organization. Meet with managers to see how Yoh can assist them. 5%
