Job summary

Capital One seeks a Lead Technical Consultant to guide technical execution and delivery across US & Canadian markets. You will own project execution, manage Jira backlogs, build release plans, and shield the team from mid-stream changes to accelerate delivery of digital products.

The role requires strong Agile leadership, backlog refinement, and collaboration with business and engineering partners to ensure scalable, secure API-driven solutions across platforms.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or Agile Delivery Lead in banking/payments.
• At least 2 years of experience with API testing tools and JIRA.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Technical project leadership and backlog management.
• Agile delivery management and sprint ceremonies.
• Translate features into robust user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Oversee capacity, release planning, and delivery metrics in Jira.
• Shield implementation teams from mid-stream changes and manage risks.
