Job summary

Planet Technologies, the Nation’s leading Microsoft services provider to the public sector, invites a motivated Technical Account Manager to join our Managed Services team. You will support critical projects, maintain service levels, and drive client value with a trusted advisor approach.

Responsibilities include managing assigned accounts, coordinating with engineers and architects, escalating issues, and delivering consistent reporting.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in IT customer account management, IT managed services, or IT project management in a Managed Services organization.
• Experience working with large remotely based teams and managing multiple complex projects.
• Ability to assimilate information quickly, prioritize, and manage expectations as a trusted advisor.
• Experience with CRM and helpdesk systems; knowledge of Microsoft tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage, support and service a set of accounts with focus on customer retention.
• Deliver IT services ensuring SLAs are met and issues resolved promptly.
• Identify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and value.
• Direct the work of the customer’s technical resources and manage escalations.
• Coordinate with internal and client teams to align on issues and opportunities.
• Produce monthly internal and customer reports and manage ad hoc project work.
