Job summary
IMCD Group is seeking a Technical Account Manager for Beauty & Personal Care in the US region. You will be the client-facing expert delivering technical support, training, and strategic guidance to drive satisfaction, retention, and growth across core accounts.
Based in a hybrid role with up to 50% travel, you will partner with customers to implement products, troubleshoot issues, and highlight upsell opportunities while translating complex chemistry and formulation concepts into actionable
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in a technical or business field.
- At least 2 years in sales, technical support, or customer-facing roles.
- Ability to translate complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
- Experience with distribution sales or chemical/tech products is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as main contact for core accounts within designated territory.
- Visit customers regularly to understand needs and drive adoption.
- Provide deep technical support and guidance on product implementation.
- Identify upsell opportunities and coordinate with sales teams.
- Relay customer feedback to development teams to improve products.
- Educate clients through targeted training on product usage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business goals.
