Job summary

McKesson seeks a seasoned Senior Category Manager to own the Technology Professional Services category end-to-end. This high-visibility, strategic role partners with CIOs and business leaders to shape sourcing strategy, negotiate complex agreements, and deliver measurable value from Technology Services.

You will lead multi-year roadmaps, run SOW lifecycles in Fieldglass, build a rational supplier ecosystem, and drive cost savings, risk mitigation, and governance through data analytics and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement, with a minimum of 5 years focused specifically on Technology Professional Services.
• Experience structuring and negotiating complex, multi-phased Technology Services agreements (MSAs, SOWs, hybrid models).
• Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior technology and business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing the full SOW lifecycle within a VMS platform (Fieldglass preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Technology Professional Services category strategy, including staff augmentation, managed services, consulting, and related tech labor models.
• Define multi-year category roadmaps aligned to business technology investments and priorities.
• Lead the structuring and negotiation of sophisticated Technology Services agreements (MSAs, SOWs, outcome-based delivery).
• Design contract frameworks balancing flexibility, risk, IP, data security, and performance accountability.
• Oversee SOW lifecycle within Fieldglass or equivalent VMS, with compliant intake and approvals.
