Job summary

McKesson, a Fortune 10 healthcare company, is seeking a seasoned Senior Category Manager to own the Technology Professional Services category end-to-end. You will lead strategic sourcing, complex contract structuring, and governance to drive measurable value.

As a strategic partner to Technology, Finance, Legal, and HR leaders, you will influence sourcing strategies, negotiate sophisticated agreements, and leverage analytics (Power BI, Tableau) to inform decision-making.

Qualifications

7+ years in strategic sourcing/category management/procurement
5+ years focused on Technology Professional Services
Experience negotiating complex multi-phased Technology Services agreements
Experience with SOW lifecycle and VMS platforms

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end Technology Professional Services category strategy
Lead complex contracts (MSAs, SOWs, blended models)
Design and lead competitive sourcing events (RFI/RFP/RFQ)
Manage supplier performance and governance (KPI/SLA, QBRs)
Partner with senior stakeholders across Technology, Finance, Legal, HR
Deliver measurable value: cost savings, risk mitigation, cycle time improvements
Leverage analytics to provide actionable insights for decision making
