Job summary

Red Hat is seeking a Technical Account Manager to deliver strategic technical guidance to key customers and help optimize their Red Hat infrastructure. You will build trusted advisor relationships, coach on best practices, and advocate for assigned accounts.

This role involves working with Red Hat Engineering and Support teams, presenting operational reviews, and traveling as needed to meet customers and events in the region. Strong technical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical support, devops, consulting, development, engineering, or QA
• Experience with enterprise cloud solutions like Red Hat OpenShift
• Experience with Virtual Machine migrations
• Telecommunications or Service Provider industry experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of enterprise architecture and business drivers

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with key stakeholders and become an expert on customer implementation of Red Hat products
• Perform technical reviews and proactively identify issues
• Forewarn customers of changes and advise on mitigation strategies
• Troubleshoot issues and drive escalation with Red Hat and customer teams
• Present periodic reviews of operational performance to customer leadership
• Manage customer use cases and maintain documentation
• Create customer engagement plans and keep environment documentation updated
• Demonstrate how Red Hat cloud solutions align with customer use cases
• Support automated and containerized cloud applications
• Learn new technologies quickly and share knowledge internally
• Collaborate with Red Hat Engineering and Support to debug and resolve issues
• Engage with product engineering to develop solution patterns for platform adoption
• Travel as necessary to visit customers and attend events
