Job summary

UCSF is seeking a Manager, Talent Portfolio Management to serve as the operational hub for the Office of Organizational Effectiveness. You will coordinate across four capability pillars, manage the portfolio, develop executive reporting, and maintain the enterprise talent calendar for leaders and managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of common organizational and other software applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all staff levels.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion.
• Advanced project management Skills.
• Knowledge of organizational processes, policies and procedures.
• Ability to multi-task under demanding timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Office of Organizational Effectiveness portfolio across Leadership Development, Systems, Optimization, and Innovation.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, dependencies, and dashboards for visibility and alignment.
• Identify risks and provide leaders with timely portfolio progress updates.
• Create executive reports and dashboards using Smartsheet and ServiceNow.
• Partner with HR Strategy, HR Operations, HR Communications, and HR Analytics to align reporting with enterprise priorities.
• Manage portfolio rhythm, planning cycles, and departmental workflows.
• Support resource planning and cross-functional coordination for strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain an integrated enterprise calendar of talent initiatives.
