Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a Program & Project Manager to lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives across the Department of Medicine Chair’s Office. The role involves coordinating with senior leadership, HR, Finance, IT, and Communications to drive operational improvements and adoption of new systems and AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and 5+ years of related work experience; and/or equivalent experience/training.
• Advanced knowledge of program and project management concepts and practices, with experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives from planning through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Leads planning, coordination, and execution of high-visibility, cross-functional initiatives.
• Manages a diverse portfolio of projects including faculty and research programs and system implementations.
• Provides programmatic and project support to senior leadership, including development of presentations and project plans.
• Coordinates across faculty and central administrative functions to align timelines and deliverables.
• Supports implementation and sustainment of new programs, tools, and approaches across a large academic environment.
• Designs and administers surveys to support planning and prioritization.
