Job summary

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in project/program/portfolio financial management or strategic financial analysis
• Advanced knowledge of portfolio management within management consulting or healthcare/academic environments
• Ability to coach, facilitate and influence people at all levels
• Ability to apply change management in implementing programs
• Ability to establish and manage project governance groups
• Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills
• Experience in higher education, healthcare, or mission-driven environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Own the portfolio governance cadence and reporting standards across EST
• Embed standardized portfolio practices into daily operations and coach adoption
• Design and execute stakeholder change management for portfolio rollouts
• Serve as trusted advisor on governance maturity and risk surfacing
• Oversee financial performance across all active projects and programs
• Track budget vs. actuals and drive corrective actions
• Ensure data accuracy in portfolio systems and reporting
• Analyze portfolio spending, resource utilization, and forecasts
• Collaborate with HR/Finance to align allocations with priorities
• Identify AI-enabled opportunities in portfolio lifecycles
• Design and facilitate governance processes and maintain audit trails
• Provide executive reporting and decision support
