Job summary

JEOL USA is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage recruitment across the company and its subsidiaries, including field service, sales, and administration. You will attract, evaluate, and hire qualified talent while ensuring compliance with employment laws and OFCCP requirements.

You will partner with hiring managers on workforce planning, candidate selection, and diversity initiatives, supporting a growing organization with a strong brand in science and technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university or college.
• 5–8 years of talent acquisition/recruiting experience with a track record in electro-mechanical technician, engineering, science, and admin roles.
• Knowledge of OFCCP, VEVRA, and Section 503; experience supporting compliance audits and government reporting.
• Experience with ATS, HRIS, internet recruitment platforms, E-Verify, I-9 requirements, and recordkeeping obligations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• 5% travel to company locations, career fairs, conferences, and trade shows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process to achieve talent acquisition objectives.
• Engage active and passive candidates via networks, job boards, conferences, colleges, and industry events.
• Promote JEOL USA brand to build diverse talent pipelines.
• Evaluate candidates for skills, experience, and fit; advise hiring managers.
• Coordinate communications, interview scheduling, and candidate experience.
• Update job descriptions to reflect current needs and requirements.
• Maintain applicant flow logs, disposition records, and staffing reports.
• Support EEO, AAP planning, compliance audits, and diversity initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and OFCCP requirements.
• Advise managers and employees on recruitment policies and practices.
