Job summary

EJF Real Estate Services, Inc. in the Washington, DC area is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruitment and related employee lifecycle activities across EJF and affiliates.

The role partners with hiring managers and coordinates recruitment from requisition through onboarding while maintaining a positive candidate experience. You will administer Paylocity and Monday.com, refine processes, and ensure timely, compliant hiring in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Three or more years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Experience administering an ATS and maintaining recruitment workflows.
• Experience with compensation benchmarking and preparation of salary recommendations preferred.
• Experience using Paylocity or a similar HRIS preferred.
• Experience using Monday.com or a similar workflow, CRM, or project management platform preferred.
• Experience in HR consulting is preferred.
• Experience recruiting in real estate, property management, hospitality, or another service-based industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment across EJF and its affiliate companies.
• Partner with hiring managers to clarify position requirements, establish hiring timelines, and determine sourcing approaches.
• Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates; coordinate interviews and candidate communications.
• Draft and update job descriptions with department leaders to reflect current responsibilities and qualifications.
• Conduct market compensation benchmarking and prepare salary recommendations.
• Prepare offer documentation and coordinate the offer process after compensation approval.
• Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for recurring and difficult-to-fill positions.
• Ensure a consistent, timely, and professional candidate experience from initial contact through hire.
• Own and administer recruitment functions within Paylocity and Monday.com.
• Develop, maintain, and update SOPs, templates, checklists, and process documentation.
