Job summary

Nextran Truck Centers in Orlando is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to help build a workforce that supports our growth. Based at our Orlando dealership, you will work with Central Florida teams to understand talent needs, build sustainable pipelines, and improve hiring and retention outcomes.

As a new role, you will shape and expand NX talent acquisition strategy, coordinating with dealership and HR leadership to implement proactive sourcing, onboarding, and development plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and SHRM-CP/PHR or similar certification preferred.
• Experience in talent acquisition or HR across decentralized or multi-location orgs preferred.
• Experience recruiting for skilled trades, operations, or other hard-to-fill roles is preferred.
• Strong sourcing, networking, and candidate-pipeline development skills.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with dealership leaders to identify current and future hiring needs and gaps in bench strength.
• Develop short- and long-term recruiting strategies that support external hiring and internal talent development.
• Source, recruit, screen, and help select qualified candidates for skilled trades, operations, sales, leadership, and other dealership roles.
• Build proactive candidate pipelines for critical and difficult-to-fill roles.
• Manage the recruiting and hiring process in partnership with Hiring Managers and local HR.
• Help leaders improve interviewing, candidate assessment, and selection practices.
• Support the identification and development of high-potential employees for future opportunities.
• Partner with management on onboarding and training plans for new hires and monitor early retention.
• Develop relationships with technical schools, industry organizations, and other talent sources.
• Leverage recruiting technology, social media, career fairs, marketing, and other sourcing strategies.
• Monitor the competitive talent market and recommend ways to stay competitive in attracting and retaining employees.
• Use recruiting data and analytics to track results (time-to-fill, source of hire, hiring volume, 90-day retention, bench strength).
• Partner with dealership leadership, HR Business Partners, and Corporate HR on engagement and retention.
