Job summary

Spear is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in New York to manage full life-cycle recruiting, develop proactive sourcing strategies, and partner with hiring teams across the organization. You will own university partnerships, manage our recruiting platforms, and ensure timely staffing for all open roles.

You will connect candidates with hiring managers quickly, report on recruiting metrics, and implement continuous improvement in the talent pipeline.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR/Talent Acquisition/Recruitment focused role preferred
• Commitment to providing a 5 Star experience for both internal team members and external candidates
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information
• Willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency without compromising accuracy or attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral
• Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects
• Lever experience preferred
• Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide full life-cycle recruitment for all Spear open positions
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies using professional networking, referrals, direct sourcing, social media
• Build talent pipeline by attending industry conferences and events
• Partner with hiring managers to understand departmental recruitment needs
• Develop relationships with career services and DPT programs
• Administrate Lever system with daily oversight and training
• Maintain vendor relationships with Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, etc., addressing issues within 24 hours
• Produce weekly and monthly recruitment reports and turnover data
• Facilitate training for new hiring managers during onboarding
• Post jobs within 24 hours of opening notice
• Connect viable candidates with hiring managers within 24 hours of screening
• Respond to inquiries within 8 business hours
