Job summary

Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist in New York, NY. You will own the full recruitment cycle, partner with hiring managers and university partners, and build a strong talent pipeline to fill open roles quickly.

You will manage recruitment platforms, report on hiring metrics, and ensure candidates experience a top-tier process, contributing to Spear’s growth and success in the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR/Talent Acquisition/Recruitment focused role preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree: specialization in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
• Commitment to providing a 5 Star experience for both internal team members and external candidates.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• Willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency without compromising accuracy or attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
• Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects.
• Lever experience preferred
• Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide full life-cycle recruitment for all Spear open positions.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies using professional networks, referrals, direct sourcing, social media, etc.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines through events and college partnerships.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand department staffing needs.
• Develop relationships with career services staff and DPT programs.
• Oversee talent recruitment system administration and daily updates.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships with Lever, Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, etc.
• Produce weekly and monthly recruitment reports and turnover data.
• Facilitate training for new hiring managers.
• Post jobs within 24 hours of notice and connect candidates with managers within 24 hours.
• Respond to inquiries within 8 business hours.
