Job summary

Mitchell Companies in Maryland is seeking a recruiter to reach people, captivate their interest, and translate that into qualified applications. You’ll lead recruiting across our multi-location organization, focusing on warehouse and delivery roles, on-site Monday–Friday with some travel.

Create campaigns, build pipelines, and advise managers to improve hiring decisions. You’ll partner with HR and operations to optimize pay, scheduling, and job conditions while using data to boost candidate flow

Qualifications

Three years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
Campaigns/advertisements/outreach that generated qualified applicants.
Able to coach managers, influence decisions, and address barriers candidly.
Curiosity and initiative to test approaches and improve results.
Strong organization and follow-through; experience with an ATS and recruiting data.

Responsibilities

Create recruiting campaigns and job advertisements that communicate the opportunity honestly and give candidates a reason to apply.
Set hiring priorities and use success profiles to build realistic job information, structured interviews, and scorecards.
Build pipelines through targeted outreach, referrals, schools, and partnerships.
Coach managers on interviewing and evaluation, manage response expectations, and resolve delays.
Oversee recruiting through offer acceptance and hand-off to HR.
