Job summary

Randolph-Macon College invites applications for a full-time Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist. This role reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and coordinates recruitment, selection, pre-employment, and onboarding processes.

You will engage candidates, advise managers, and ensure a welcoming, efficient experience throughout hiring and onboarding. The position emphasizes full-cycle recruitment, onboarding for faculty and staff, and maintaining accurate HR records in ADP Workforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including recruitment and onboarding.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and effectively use HRIS and recruitment systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for exempt and nonexempt staff positions using ADP Workforce Now.
• Advise hiring managers on job descriptions, qualifications, recruitment strategies, interviews, and approvals.
• Post job advertisements and communicate with candidates about status, interviews, offers, and pre-employment requirements.
• Coordinate candidate interviews, campus visits, reference checks, background checks, and drug screenings.
• Prepare and distribute employment offer letters and related documents.
• Coordinate onboarding for new faculty and staff, ensuring forms and employment requirements are completed.
