Job summary

AMERISAFE in DeRidder, LA, is seeking an experienced Recruiter to lead end-to-end recruitment for all levels across the organization. You will partner with department leaders to understand roles, develop sourcing strategies, and build pipelines while promoting AMERISAFE’s culture and employer brand.

The role requires 3+ years of recruiting and HR experience, strong communication, and ability to handle confidential information.

Qualifications

• Three years of recruiting and related HR experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
• Must handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Familiarity with AMERISAFE systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment efforts for positions across the organization, including entry-level, professional, technical and management roles.
• Manage the entire recruitment process: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, follow-up and support.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop recruitment strategies.
• Proactively source active and passive candidates via traditional and alternative channels.
• Leverage external hiring sources (LinkedIn, Indeed, state departments, professional organizations).
• Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications timely and professionally.
• Conduct reference checks and provide monthly recruitment metrics reports.
• Promote AMERISAFE culture, values and employer brand; ensure compliance with employment laws.
