Job summary

SHP MANAGEMENT is seeking a Talent Acquisition & Development Manager in Cumberland Foreside, Maine. This role leads recruitment strategies, onboarding and employee development while ensuring HR compliance across 13 states in a hybrid 36-hour workweek.

The ideal candidate will blend proactive recruitment with training expertise, partnering with regional leaders and executives to strengthen hiring practices and talent pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, HR, or related function.
• Experience supporting multi-location or multi-state operations.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, onboarding practices, and applicable employment regulations.
• Experience developing or facilitating training programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination.
• Partner with Regional Managers and VPs to anticipate staffing needs and develop proactive recruitment strategies.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for operational, administrative, and leadership roles across 13 states.
• Develop sourcing strategies via job boards, networks, referrals, and partnerships.
• Collaborate with leadership to create job descriptions and support workforce planning.
• Track recruitment metrics and improve hiring processes and candidate experience.
