Job summary

ZEISS is seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive capital equipment sales in the North Carolina territory. The role requires a hunter mentality, proven surgical equipment sales experience, and the ability to forecast monthly pipeline while maintaining high standards of ethics and professionalism.

Ideal candidates reside in Charlotte or Raleigh and will cover the NC territory. You will develop annual business plans, conduct demonstrations for surgeons and OR staff, and collaborate with

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent; 5+ years sales experience.
• High level of technical/clinical product knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills.
• Develop expertise in product application and practice management implications.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid motor vehicle license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain currency of GMP/ISO 9001 processes and procedures.
• Attain or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas for regions of responsibility.
• Conduct personalized sales demonstrations to surgeons, OR staff, and administration.
• Collaborate with team for lead sharing, account management, and development.
• Maintain territory records to plan, execute, and measure results.
• Educate surgeons and staff on operation, utilization and application of products.
• Provide timely written and oral communications to management on monthly activity.
• Maintain SFDC reports and dashboards for opportunities, leads, and funnel.
• Develop synergy opportunities among Zeiss entities and partners.
• Implement creative marketing approaches for regional demands.
• Complete all paperwork timely; manage cost center for sales and expenses.
