Job summary

ZEISS Meditec Inc. is seeking a Senior Equipment Specialist to drive new business in a defined territory.

You will be responsible for meeting revenue and profit quotas while managing expenses, and you will deliver personalized equipment demonstrations to surgeons, OR staff and administrators within your region. The role requires 5+ years of medical sales experience, deep product knowledge, and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent; 5+ years in sales.
• High level of technical/clinical product knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
• Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills.
• Develop expertise in product application and practice management implications.
• Must safely operate a motor vehicle and hold a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain currency of GMP and ISO 9001 processes and procedures.
• Meet or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas for the region.
• Conduct scheduled sales demonstrations to surgeons and OR staff.
• Collaborate with regional specialists for account management after sale.
• Maintain territory records and measure results.
• Educate clinicians on operation and application of products.
• Provide timely, accurate communications to management on sales activity.
• Maintain SFDC reports, dashboards and updates for opportunities and leads.
• Develop synergies with other Zeiss entities and partners.
• Implement creative marketing approaches for regional demands.
• Complete all paperwork and data requests in a timely manner.
