Job summary

ZEISS Meditec Inc. is seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive capital equipment sales across Charlotte and Raleigh regions in North Carolina. You will build a robust annual plan, forecast pipelines, and exceed revenue targets while educating clinical teams on product applications.

The role requires a hunter mindset, deep technical knowledge of surgical equipment, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with service and corporate partners to optimize customer workflow and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent.
• Five plus (5+) years' sales experience.
• High level of technical/ clinical product knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and databases.
• Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills.
• Develop expertise in product application and practice management implications.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain currency of GMP and ISO 9001 processes and procedures.
• Attain or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas for regions of responsibility.
• Make scheduled personalized sales demonstrations to surgeons and OR staff.
• Work effectively in a team to ensure lead sharing and account development.
• Maintain territory records to plan, execute, and measure results.
• Educate surgeons and OR staff on operation, utilization and application of products.
• Provide timely written and oral communications to management on monthly activity.
• Maintain SFDC reports, dashboards and updates relative to opportunities and leads.
• Develop synergy opportunities among Zeiss companies and partners.
• Develop creative marketing approaches for the region.
