Job summary

Allianz Trade North America is seeking an Executive Surety Underwriter to manage and grow the Surety portfolio in the East Region (Baltimore, Boston, PA, NJ, NY, NC). The role focuses on maintaining broker relationships, marketing Surety capabilities, and profitable underwriting in the US.

You will collaborate with regional and global teams, attend industry events, and drive strategic plans to expand the portfolio while incorporating AI-driven processes and analytics.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years industry experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in surety in the U.S. in your local market.
• Entrepreneurial skill set to establish and achieve goals and objectives.
• Established track record developing business with brokers.
• Basic awareness of AI technologies and enthusiasm to integrate AI into processes.

Responsibilities

• Marketing and underwriting of the assigned Surety portfolio within the East Region.
• Maintain and expand Allianz Trade’s Surety business with brokers.
• Document decisions and recommendations clearly.
• Underwrite portfolio per underwriting guidelines and portfolio management requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Americas and internationally.
• Attend industry groups and local surety events as requested.
