The role requires leadership in underwriting profitability, collaboration across the Americas, and engagement with industry groups. AI familiarity is encouraged as part of digital transformation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience in surety.
• Knowledge of the U.S. surety market.
• Entrepreneurial skill set to achieve goals and grow business.
• Proven ability to develop business with brokers.
• Willingness to learn and integrate AI into business processes.

Responsibilities

• Excel in regional growth of Allianz Trade’s Surety business in the United States.
• Underwrite a profitable portfolio through broker engagement in the local market.
• Document decisions in a transparent, consistent manner.
• Underwrite per guidelines and portfolio management requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Americas and internationally.
• Attend industry groups and local surety events as requested.
