Job summary

Allianz Trade in North America seeks a seasoned Surety Underwriter to drive the regional business plan and expand Allianz Trade’s surety footprint in the United States. You will underwrite and grow a profitable portfolio through active broker engagement in the local market.

Qualifications

2+ years industry experience in surety.
Knowledge and expertise in U.S. surety markets.
Entrepreneurial mindset to achieve goals.
Proven ability to develop business with brokers.

Responsibilities

Work with Regional Surety Manager to execute the strategic plan in the U.S.
Develop and underwrite a profitable portfolio through broker relationships in the local market.
Document decisions and recommendations clearly and consistently.
Conduct underwriting in line with guidelines and portfolio management requirements.
Collaborate with colleagues across the Americas and internationally to leverage capabilities.
Attend industry groups and local surety events as requested by the Regional Manager.
