Job summary

Allianz Trade North America in the United States seeks an Executive Surety Underwriter to market and underwrite the East Region's Surety portfolio, including Baltimore and nearby markets. You will maintain broker relationships, pursue new ones, and ensure profitable underwriting in the US.

You will lead portfolio growth, collaborate across the Americas, and participate in industry events while adhering to underwriting guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years industry experience in US surety underwriting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of US surety markets and broker relationships.
• 4-year college degree in business, economics, or finance.

Responsibilities

• Execute the strategic plan to maintain and expand Allianz Trade’s US Surety business.
• Develop and underwrite a profitable portfolio through broker relationships.
• Document decisions and recommendations in a consistent manner.
• Underwrite in line with guidelines and portfolio management requirements.
• Collaborate across the Americas to leverage surety capabilities.
• Attend industry groups and local surety events as requested.
