Job summary

Wurth Group of North America Inc. is seeking a Supply Planner to support inventory levels and ensure timely delivery.

The role analyzes demand and supply data, maintains planning parameters in ERP, and works with suppliers to manage availability and risk. The position requires 2+ years in product or manufacturing planning, an associate or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), and preferably CPIM certification.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, required; preferably in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of product planning, manufacturing planning, or other relevant experience.
• Supply chain certification, such as APICS CPIM, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory, sales, forecast, and consumption data to inform inventory decisions and identify shortages or excess.
• Maintain planning parameters in ERP systems, including safety stock, lead times, and vendor codes.
• Anticipate demand influences and mitigate impact on product availability and inventory.
• Create and manage purchase orders based on demand forecasts and lead times.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Operations, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Logistics to align supply plans with needs.
• Support new product introductions by coordinating inventory planning for launches.
• Monitor open purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers on status and delivery schedules.
• Expedite orders when needed and communicate constraints to stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain reports on inventory performance, shortages, service levels, and risks.
