Job summary

Wurth International Trading America is seeking a Supply Planner to optimize inventory and support timely product availability for customers. You will analyze demand and supply signals, adjust planning parameters, and work with suppliers and internal teams to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

Responsibilities include managing purchase orders, coordinating with Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics, and supporting new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Degree required: Associate or Bachelor's in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in product planning, manufacturing planning, or related area.
• CPIM or equivalent supply chain certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory, sales, forecast, and consumption data to inform inventory decisions and mitigate risks.
• Maintain planning parameters in ERP systems including safety stock, lead times, and vendor codes.
• Anticipate demand influences and reduce impact of promotions on availability.
• Create and manage purchase orders based on demand forecasts and lead times.
• Collaborate across Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics to align plans with business needs.
• Support new product introductions by coordinating inventory planning for launches.
• Monitor open purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers on delivery schedules.
• Expedite orders when needed and communicate constraints to stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain reports on inventory performance, shortages, service levels, and risk.
