Curran Recruiting partners with an established manufacturing organization to add a Demand Planner to its supply chain team. This role focuses on accurate forecasting, inventory optimization, and cross-department collaboration to drive steady product availability and business growth.

The position emphasizes data-driven analysis, ERP/MRP proficiency, and the ability to work with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to align demand with supply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in demand or supply chain planning or related areas.
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of forecasting and replenishment processes.
• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Analyze demand, sales trends, and inventory data to support forecasting and purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to align inventory with demand.
• Monitor inventory levels, availability, and replenishment requirements.
• Assess supplier lead times and production capabilities to prevent shortages.
• Support monthly planning and improve forecast accuracy.
• Manage inventory planning for multiple products and SKUs.
• Assist with new product introductions and changing inventory needs.
• Use ERP and planning systems to maintain data accuracy and visibility.
• Identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory and improve availability.
