Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. is seeking a Production Planner in Buffalo, NY. The role focuses on creating detailed production schedules to meet delivery commitments while optimizing capacity and inventory, all on a fully onsite basis.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3–5 years of manufacturing planning or supervision experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and familiarity with lean principles. A structured, continuous-improvement mindset is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or related field with 3–5 years of experience or equivalent manufacturing planning/supervision experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and work product flow.
• Strong communication and leadership skills in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed production schedules to meet customer shipping commitments and monitor performance to schedule.
• Lead maintenance of labor schedules, factory calendar and material requirements to achieve master production schedule.
• Maintain integrity of Execution & Control systems and drive process improvements.
• Monitor and control inventory levels to align with master plans and business guidelines.
• Develop cross-functional knowledge to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
