Job summary

TREW LLC is seeking a Senior Planner to manage planning processes for assigned commodities, ensuring timely and cost-efficient supply of materials. You will forecast demand, set supply plans, and coordinate with production and procurement to keep schedules aligned with business goals.

This on-site role requires strong analytical skills, ERP/MRP proficiency, and the ability to work across departments to optimize inventory and service levels. Prior CPIM exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production planning or materials planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong forecasting and inventory management skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Excel.
• Excellent communication across departments at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts and supply plans.
• Collaborate with project management and production teams to align forecasts with objectives.
• Engage daily with shop supervision to review priorities and create the daily schedule.
• Run MRP and manage planning parameters for assigned items.
• Partner with Procurement to confirm deliveries and resolve shortages.
• Monitor inventory levels with Inventory Manager to optimize stock turns.
• Analyze demand and capacity data to support make-vs-buy decisions.
• Monitor market trends and supplier lead times to adjust plans.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory status and planning KPIs.
• Create weekly project health reports including on-time delivery status.
• Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and improvements.
