Job summary

The role focuses on managing MRP purchase requirements, issuing POs, following up on late orders, forecasting production needs, negotiating favorable supplier terms, and delivering weekly and monthly metrics to the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Material Requirements Planning system to ensure on time delivery.
• Manage assigned MRP purchase requirements.
• Generate and issue Purchase Orders for Purchase Requisitions.
• Follow up on late Purchase Orders and address delays.
• Issue supplier corrective actions when needed.
• Forecast production requirements to supply base.
• Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
• Manage supplier scorecards for quality and delivery.
• Initiate consignment or stocking program to reduce inventory days.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment; comply with policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
