Job summary

SRCTec, LLC is seeking a Sr. Material Planner to coordinate contract demand in the MRP system, align material availability with production schedules, and manage requisitions.

The role interfaces with procurement, manufacturing, program management, and engineering to ensure timely material availability and optimal inventory levels. You will support continuous improvement initiatives, monitor material risks, and mentor junior planners while engaging cross-functional teams in S&OP and strategic

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in material planning or related field.
Working knowledge of inventory management, bills of material, MRP systems
Proficient with MS Excel

Responsibilities

Convert contracts information to demand input in the MRP system
Align material supply with the manufacturing/development build plan
Submit purchase requisitions and monitor material risks
Interface with procurement to resolve material issues
Engage in S&OP processes to improve part forecasts and inventory levels
Lead cross-functional collaboration to improve forecasts and inventory levels
Train, mentor, and support Material Planners to build capability
Drive accountability and implement process improvements within the planning group
Enhance planning tools, workflows, and documentation with leadership
