Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Manager for the Starlink/XAI program in Bastrop/Austin, TX. The role supports engineers and supply chain professionals to drive production signals, improve cost, quality, and speed, and shape the factory of the future.

Responsibilities include maintaining BOM accuracy, managing inventory targets, mitigating supply risk, and educating teams on MRP. Travel up to 30% may be required and on-site work in Bastrop/Austin.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or 7+ years with relevant experience in engineering, purchasing, planning or operations.
• Experience with MRP, BOMs, line balancing and supplier coordination.
• Experience with ERP, cost models and strategic sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain BOM accuracy and audit in MRP systems for production readiness.
• Set inventory targets and manage demand/supply signals and allocations.
• Mitigate supply risk and ensure timely, quality fulfillment.
• Educate teams on MRP usage and benefits to the business.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and quality to manage changes and obsolescence.
• Drive advanced supply chain strategies for risk mitigation and long-term buys.
• Manage inventory proactively to optimize working capital.
• Build strong relationships across manufacturing, engineering and supply chain.
