Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a SpaceX Supply Chain Planner (Starlink) to support an elite team of engineers and supply chain professionals. You will establish and maintain signals driving production for the Starlink satellite constellation and influence suppliers on cost, quality, and speed of execution.

The role requires strong MRP expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive approach to risk management in a fast-moving environment. Onsite Bastrop, TX with up to 30% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of related experience, or 3+ years in the listed areas.
• Experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, or production planning.
• Background in material or production planning and supply chain management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and planning functions.
• Ability to analyze data and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy and audit bills of materials in MRP for production at rate.
• Manage inventory targets and review line of balances; maintain product master data.
• Develop and execute a robust supply plan to meet product needs on time and with quality.
• Educate teams on MRP usage and benefits to the business.
• Coordinate with engineering, production and quality to minimize obsolescence and changes.
• Implement advanced supply chain strategies for risk mitigation and safety stock.
• Proactively manage inventory to prevent stockouts and optimize working capital.
• Build relationships with manufacturing, engineering and supply chain teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
• Update management on critical supply issues and metrics.
