Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Manager for Starlink to guide MRP-driven production planning and supplier engagement. You will collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure material availability, manage BOM accuracy, and optimize inventory and working capital.

The role requires strong experience in manufacturing supply chains, ERP/MRP systems, and analytics (SQL/PowerBI) with a focus on cost, quality, and speed.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 3+ years in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material or production planning, operations or supply chain management, or 7+ years in one or more of these areas.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience in the listed fields, or 7+ years total experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy and audit bill of materials in MRP systems for production readiness.
• Establish and manage inventory targets, review line of balances, align demand signals, maintain product master data.
• Mitigate risk and ensure continuity of supply by developing a robust supply plan.
• Be an expert in MRP, educate teams on its benefits to the business.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality to manage change cut-ins and reduce obsolescence.
• Partner with stakeholders on advanced supply chain strategies including long-term purchases and safety stock.
• Proactively manage inventory to prevent stockouts and optimize working capital.
• Develop strong relationships with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams.
