Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. seeks a Production Planner to forecast, schedule, and coordinate manufacturing activities from order entry to delivery. You will liaise with customers and plant teams to balance demand with capacity, drive on-time performance, and optimize inventory levels.

The role requires a degree in production planning or related field, plus experience in manufacturing planning. Strong communication skills and proficiency with Excel are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or AA with relevant manufacturing planning experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Experience with Excel for analysis and planning.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding requirements and status.
• Track open items, adjust scope, secure purchase order coverage, and resolve issues.
• Process orders for assigned accounts; ensure timely entry, acknowledgements, and fulfillment.
• Prepare production and material lists; create master schedules to meet ship dates.
• Plan workflows and sequence fabrication, assembly, and other operations.
• Confer with supervisors to determine project status and expedite as needed.
• Analyze capacity data and manufacturing specifications to determine needs.
