Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Fullerton, CA, is seeking a Junior Planner to assist with production scheduling for multiple product lines at Howmet Fastening Systems.

This on-site role offers exposure to ERP concepts and key supply chain processes within a large international aerospace company. You will coordinate material requirements, release work orders, forecast material consumption, and support on-time delivery while growing your planning career in a global leader renowned for high-tech fastening

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and proficiency in Excel.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• ERP, QAD, COP, systems experience is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in planning capacity.

Responsibilities

• Assist Planner to schedule orders to meet customer needs.
• Release work orders to production cells to meet objectives.
• Forecast raw material and tooling consumption for assigned areas.
• Coordinate supplier delivery schedules to meet production needs.
• Monitor resource requirements to meet schedule.
