Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. Electronics Manufacturer in Frederick, MD seeks a Supply Chain Manager to oversee inventory, purchasing, and cross-site operations.

You will lead a team, coordinate with program managers, manage supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement in throughput and cost.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience in contract manufacturing; strong Excel/Access skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience in contract manufacturing.
• Prior supervisory experience and strong people management skills.
• Significant experience with inventory control, logistics, MRP, supply chains, contract negotiations, and purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Buyers, Engineering Production Services, Quoting Specialist and Proposal Administrator.
• Maintain inventory levels to ensure on-time production while minimizing on-hand inventory.
• Drive for increased inventory turns and optimize supplier relationships.
• Lead negotiations and track quality, price and delivery metrics.
• Coordinate planning with Program Managers for forecasted customer orders.
• Ensure standard practices for shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Provide management with data/metrics for continuous improvement and decision making.
