Kiewit Corporation is seeking a motivated Supply Chain Specialist to support planning, sourcing, contracting, procurement, logistics, and materials management for complex engineering and construction projects. You will collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budgets and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, SCM, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in engineering/industrial/transportation construction related supply chain.
• Minimum of 1 year negotiation experience or ability to negotiate material/subcontracts.
• Experience drafting and managing material/equipment contracts; understanding terms and conditions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database usage; SAP/InEight experience desirable.

Responsabilités

• Own and manage the contract process for assigned materials/equipment; negotiate terms and manage change orders.
• Purchase the highest quality materials at the lowest possible cost per specifications.
• Collaborate with staff, users, and vendors to resolve defective goods or services and determine corrective action.
• Leverage vendors/subcontractors to drive cost savings across procurements.
• Research and evaluate suppliers on price, quality, service and reliability.
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate proposals, and manage material/vendor subcontracts for projects.
