Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support Power & Industrial markets from our Lenexa, KS office. You will manage supplier contracts, drive procurement activities from RFPs through delivery, and collaborate with project teams to meet schedule and budget targets.

You will negotiate terms, develop vendor relationships, and seek cost savings across multiple procurements while ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Experience with RFP processes, contract development/negotiation and procurement execution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and negotiate supplier contracts and manage relationships to meet standards and client requirements.
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service and reliability.
• Ensure materials and services are provided on time and within budget through full lifecycle procurement.
• Prepare/issue RFPs and evaluate proposals to select suitable vendors for budget/schedule constraints.
• Assist in developing company-wide procurement templates and leverage vendors for cost savings.
